Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier

Weight: 25 lbs

Expected weight: 30-40lbs

Neutered: yes

Vaccination status: up to date/free rabies vax voucher at wake county animal shelter for mid march. 

Heart worm status: Negative - on Nexgard (last given 1/24/23 )

Good with dogs, loves to wrestle and play. Not yet tested with cats. Good with people of all ages. Will do better with children over the age of 10.

Still working on potty training 

Crate trained:does wonders in his crate.

Knox is a special boy. He is the sweetest cuddle bug who just wants love. Little kids seem to make him a bit nervous, which is why we believe a quieter home with older children, if any, would be more suitable for Knox. 

We have three little kids, the youngest being 3. Knox usually doesn’t pay them much mind, however, there are moments where he will growl and try to bite. With much observation we have noticed how uneasy Knox feels. He may have been mistreated and feels much safer and secure with our older children and adults. We want Knox to feel safe at all times and give him the opportunity to fully relax and thrive,  our home seems too rowdy to give him what he needs.
