The Answers You Need
HOW DO YOU GET YOUR DOGS?
We currently receive dogs and puppies from many different places including animal shelters, animal cruelty investigations, and individuals who have rescued strays on their own.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are a North Carolina based non-profit organization. Prior to adoption, our dogs are in foster care where they live as part of the foster family and are socialized, trained, loved, and spoiled until placement with their permanent family. We have a centralized location where most of our dogs are fostered and others are fostered in our volunteers’ homes. We are ALWAYS in need of foster homes!
WHAT IS YOUR ADOPTION PROCESS?
All pets available for adoption are listed here. Once you have fallen in love with one of our dogs, please fill out an online application here and a volunteer will be in contact with you within 48 hours. In placing our dogs, we conduct an extensive interview/screening to ensure the quality and commitment of each home.
WHAT SORT OF VET CARE DO YOU PROVIDE?
Our dogs receive the best of veterinary care and are up-to-date on all vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, on flea/tick and heart-worm preventatives, and have received any other necessary vet care. Dogs/puppies over the age of 3 months have been spayed/neutered.
